Terms of Service

By accessing muarlab.com, using a MuArLab product, purchasing a license or subscription, or engaging us for development work, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

MuArLab is an independent software lab building SaaS products, mobile applications, AI tools, custom software, APIs, automation systems, and digital platforms. We are based in Morocco and build software products and custom digital solutions for businesses that need modern web platforms, mobile apps, and operational tooling.

These Terms apply to all current and future MuArLab offerings unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

MuArLab operates across two complementary areas:

Owned products

• SaaS platforms and subscription software
• Mobile applications for iOS and Android
• AI tools and intelligent automation products
• APIs and digital platforms released under the MuArLab brand

Client services

• Custom software development for businesses and teams
• Web applications, dashboards, and internal business systems
• Websites and digital platforms
• SaaS MVP design and development
• API development and systems integration
• Consulting on architecture, product delivery, and digitization

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Beta and early-access functionality is provided "as is" and may change without notice.

Some MuArLab products require an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, notify us of unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or create security risk for our systems or users.

If you use MuArLab products or hire us for client work, you agree to:

• Provide timely feedback, assets, and approvals needed to deliver work
• Supply only materials you have the right to use and share
• Use our software and services for lawful business purposes
• Comply with data protection obligations that apply to your users and customers
• Maintain your own backups of business-critical data where appropriate

Timeline impact caused by delayed client input, missing content, or scope changes is the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client projects — including websites, mobile apps, SaaS builds, APIs, and business systems — are governed by these Terms unless a signed project agreement or statement of work ("SOW") applies. If both exist, the SOW controls for that specific engagement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees are confirmed before work begins
• Scope changes may require a revised estimate and schedule
• Deposits and milestone payments may apply to larger engagements
• Ownership of deliverables is defined in the project agreement

MuArLab SaaS products and digital tools are licensed for use, not sold, unless stated otherwise at purchase. Your license depends on the plan selected, applicable usage limits, and these Terms.

You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or extract source code from our products except where permitted by law or explicit written authorization from MuArLab.

Fees for MuArLab products and client services are presented at purchase or confirmed in a project agreement. Payments are processed using trusted and secure payment processors. We use industry-standard payment processing services to handle billing and subscriptions.

When you pay MuArLab, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to use the payment method provided
• Fees are quoted in the currency shown at checkout or in your agreement
• Applicable taxes may be added based on your location and local regulations
• MuArLab does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems

Custom development invoicing — including deposits, milestones, and final payment — follows the terms in your project agreement.

Certain MuArLab products are sold on a recurring subscription basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancel through your account settings or by emailing contact@muarlab.com. Cancellation stops future charges but generally does not refund the current billing period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

We may change pricing for future billing periods with advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.

Refund eligibility varies by product and service type. MuArLab does not guarantee refunds in every situation.

Software, designs, documentation, trademarks, and content on MuArLab properties are owned by MuArLab or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

MuArLab products: We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our products according to your plan and these Terms.

Custom development: Deliverable ownership is defined in the applicable project agreement. Unless stated otherwise, MuArLab retains rights to its pre-existing tools, frameworks, and general methodologies.

Client materials: You retain ownership of content and data you provide. You grant MuArLab a license to use those materials solely to deliver the agreed services.

You agree not to use MuArLab services to:

• Break applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful code
• Access systems or accounts without authorization
• Disrupt or overload our infrastructure
• Scrape or harvest data from our products without permission
• Generate illegal, abusive, or deceptive content through our AI tools

Breaches may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, at our discretion.

We aim to keep MuArLab products and platforms reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages, and events outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

SaaS products are provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis. Formal uptime commitments, if any, are defined in a separate enterprise agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MuArLab shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data, or business opportunities — arising from use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or our services is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid MuArLab in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions restrict certain limitations. Where that applies, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may stop using MuArLab services at any time and cancel subscriptions as described above.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued service creates legal or security risk.

On termination, your right to use the affected service ends. Provisions that should survive — including intellectual property, liability limits, and governing law — remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Morocco, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated to registered users.

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
