Overview
MuArLab is an independent software lab building SaaS products, mobile applications, AI tools, custom software, APIs, automation systems, and digital platforms. We deliver software through SaaS subscriptions, mobile app subscriptions, digital product purchases, software licenses, and custom development engagements.
MuArLab does not offer unconditional refunds. Eligibility depends on what you purchased, when you purchased it, how the product was used, and the terms below. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.
Digital purchases may be billed through secure online payment systems. Mobile subscriptions purchased through app stores are also subject to those platforms' own refund rules.
SaaS Subscriptions
MuArLab SaaS products may be offered on monthly or annual plans with automatic renewal.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand. You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
Refund eligibility
- First-time paid plans: You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you are unsatisfied, provided premium features were not extensively used and our Terms were not violated.
- Renewals: Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the active period already paid for.
- Downgrades: Take effect at the next billing cycle. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time on a higher tier within the current period.
- Free plans: No payment is involved; no refund applies.
Cancellation
Cancel through your account dashboard or email contact@muarlab.com. Access typically continues until the end of the paid billing period unless your plan states otherwise.
Mobile App Subscriptions
Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store follow those platforms' billing and refund policies. MuArLab cannot directly issue refunds for in-app purchases processed by an app store.
To request a store-managed refund:
- Apple: Use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support.
- Google Play:Use Google Play's refund request process or contact Google Play Support within the allowed window.
Purchases made directly through MuArLab — outside app stores — follow the SaaS subscription rules above.
Digital Products & Licenses
One-time digital purchases and software licenses are reviewed case by case.
- Requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
- Refunds may be declined if the product was downloaded, activated, or substantially used.
- If a documented defect prevents normal use and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
Custom Development Services
Client projects — websites, mobile apps, SaaS builds, APIs, and business systems — follow the refund and payment terms in your signed project agreement or statement of work.
Unless your agreement states otherwise:
- Deposits and milestone payments are generally non-refundable once work on that phase has started.
- If you cancel after work begins, you remain responsible for fees covering work completed to the cancellation date.
- If MuArLab cannot deliver agreed deliverables due to our fault and no alternative resolution is possible, a partial refund of unearned fees may be considered.
- Scope changes, client delays, and third-party dependencies are not automatic grounds for refund.

Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available when:
- A subscription renewal has already been charged
- An account was terminated for Terms of Service violations
- A paid product or service was substantially used before the request
- Custom development work has already commenced on a paid phase
- Third-party fees, taxes, or currency conversion costs apply
- The purchase is older than 14 days, except where law requires otherwise
- A promotional or discounted offer excluded refunds at purchase
- Services were fully delivered under a completed project agreement
This policy does not override statutory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
How to Cancel
- SaaS subscriptions: Cancel in account settings or email contact@muarlab.com with your account email and product name.
- Mobile app subscriptions: Cancel through Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
- Custom projects: Send written notice to contact@muarlab.com. Early termination fees may apply per your agreement.
Cancellation prevents future charges. It does not automatically refund the current billing period.
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@muarlab.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your full name and account email
- Product or service name
- Purchase date and invoice or transaction reference, if available
- A clear explanation of your request
- Relevant screenshots or error details for technical issues
Formal refund requests must be submitted by email so we can track and respond appropriately.
Processing & Response Time
We review refund requests within 5 business days. If we need more information, we will contact you.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Payments are processed using trusted and secure payment processors. Total processing time typically includes:
- MuArLab review: 1–5 business days
- Payment processing: 5–10 business days
- Bank or card issuer posting: additional time may apply
If a request is denied, we will explain why by email. You may reply with additional information for reconsideration.
Chargebacks
Contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We handle legitimate billing concerns directly and aim to resolve them fairly.
Chargebacks filed without first contacting MuArLab may result in account suspension and may affect future access to our products.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy as our products and billing practices evolve. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be communicated where practicable.
The version in effect at the time of your purchase generally applies to that transaction, unless a newer version is more favorable to you or required by law.
